Anyone 15 and up can be a lifeguard at Blossomwood Pool. There are two important requirements to complete before becoming a lifeguard:

1. Be a certified Lifeguard. We will have a certification/recertification class May 12, 2024 8am-8pm at the pool.

2. Complete the Blossomwood Pool Lifeguard Application and turn it in by March 31, 2024.

Blossomwood Pool is now accepting applications for summer employment. Having a summer job at Blossomwood Pool is an awesome opportunity to earn money while keeping the pool a safe, clean, and fun environment for members, children, and guests. Please click here for the application.

 

The completed applications will be reviewed by the Pool Board and interviews may be required. All lifeguards are required to have current proof of:

· American Red Cross Lifeguard Training

· American Red Cross First Aid

· CPR for the Professional Rescuer

· Required tax documents and Zero tolerance policy

 

We will be having a Lifeguard Certification/Recertification class on May 12, 2024 at the pool from 8am – 8pm.  Contact blossomwoodpoolpresident@gmail.com to sign up for class.

 

Your availability is very important. Lifeguards requesting multiple off times during the summer will be given lower priority than those persons available to work more time.  You must understand this is a job and attendance for scheduled shifts is mandatory.  Missed shifts will result in being dropped from the schedule.

 

In early May, there will be some “paid” workdays with the Pool Board before the pool opens. Please make every attempt to be available for those workdays.
