POOL RULES
Copies of Rules are available at the desk in pool house.
General Rules

Everyone must check in at the desk in the pool house.

Guests must be checked in with a member. This is not a public pool, therefore, no one will be admitted to swim unless accompanied by a member. There is a $5 guest fee for each in-town guest.

Out of Town guests must also be checked in with a member but are free.

There is also no charge for the following categories of guests: non-swimming visitors who are wearing street clothes, full-time baby sitters (16 years or older, who are employed as full time day care providers) children or grandchildren under 18 who are accompanied by the parent or grandparent member.

Members are responsible for the action of their guests.

Please park in parking lot until it is full. No parking on the street on both sides in front of pool entrance.

Please do not have an involved conversation with lifeguards on duty.

All babies/toddlers who are not potty trained must wear swim diapers.

Please report any diaper accidents to the manager immediately.
-
No rearranging of deck furniture to build “forts”-this inconveniences other members coming in trying to find a place to sit.

Please help us keep our pool clean and ant free. Clean up your food and trash. Please respect those who come after you.

Bikes, scooters, skates, etc., should be left outside of the pool gate and in the grass area. Sidewalks are for people to walk on so please keep them clear.

When the lost and found gets full, it will be taken to charity.

Alcoholic Beverages are prohibited.
Safety Rules
-
Lifeguard orders must and shall be obeyed at all times.

Smoking and glass are not allowed on the pool deck.
-
No running on the deck.
-
No sitting, standing or climbing on pool rails.
-
There will be a 10-minute rest break for children under the age of 16 before every hour. No one under the age of 16 will be allowed in the pool at this time.

Large floats are not allowed in the pool. No floats are allowed in the diving well. All floats must be removed from the pool upon the guard’s request.

An adult or babysitter over fourteen must accompany all children under the age of 9.

Children between the ages of 9 and 14 must have an Independent Swimmer Form on file in the pool office and pass a swimming test before being left at the pool without an adult.

Only Beach balls allow.
-
Only ½ palm size squirt guns allowed – nothing larger.
-
No swimming in the diving well area.
-
When diving exit on side of board used or straight ahead under rope into more shallow area.
-
No diving toward pool sides.
-
No full sized floats in the middle pool.
-
No slam dunking in basketball goals.
-
No “goal shooting” from deck.
-
Nine and older play basketball in Big Pool.

Chairs on the pool deck should remain on the deck.

Phone calls and length of phone calls will be restricted. Calls should only be made for child pick-up and food orders. The pool phone is not for socializing.

No wheeled riding toys inside pool fenced area.

One at a time on the slide and slide ladder.
-
No sitting on slide over water.

Slide on bottom, feet first.
Independent Swimmer
All swimmers ages 9 to 14 must have an Independent Swimmer form on file BEFORE they can be left alone at the pool. They must also pass a swimming test given by the pool manager.
Baby Sitter Parental Consent
All children who are left at the pool with a baby sitter must have a Baby Sitter Parental Consent form on file at the pool.
